Car Collision near Jayne Avenue Left One Person Hospitalized


FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 13, 2023) - Tuesday evening, a two-vehicle crash on Sutter Avenue sent one person to a hospital.
Units from Fresno County Fire responded to a collision around 6:00 p.m. at Sutter Ave., just south of Jayne Avenue.
At this time, the cause of the incident remains under investigation. However, the crash caused a small fire in a nearby field in the area.
In addition, emergency crews airlifted one person to a nearby hospital to treat minor injuries.
Authorities shut down the surrounding area to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties but has since been reopened.
