The
Disney Food & Wine Festival is back at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim and while fans can still find some of their favorites on the tasting menu, such as the
Mickey Mouse-shaped Snickers macaron, more than 60 new items (primarily drinks) can be found at this year's event.
Generating the most buzz early on, has been the "elote paleta"(pictured above) and for good reason. Piggy backing off the success from last year's "frozen guacamole" ice cream bar, the park took a similar approach with the elote version for 2023.
The elote is just one of a handful of items to get excited about this year, as cultural diversity is shown throughout, per usual.
If you're not familiar with the event, more than a dozen food carts are sprinkled within the park, with items that can be ordered a-la-carte, but many like to take advantage of the "Sip and Savor Pass" which comes with eight vouchers to try an array of personal-sized versions of the food.
The pass can be purchased at the park for $59 ($54 for Magic Key members) and cannot be used toward alcoholic drinks, but give guests the opportunity to munch on several of the innovative dishes.
Those looking to dig into the new food items, look no further and plan ahead before your trip. The festival has now begun and will continue through April 25.
Elote Paleta
The item that's getting most of the buzz is the sweet corn paleta. Combining sweet and savory, the ice cream bar is topped with corn, parm crema, chile-lime seasoning, corn crunch, and cilantro.
Smoked Honey-Habanero Chicken Wings:
This new batch of chicken wings are tossed in honey-habanero seasoning to spice up your day at the park.

Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew
Should you need relief from the spicy foods, the new blueberry pancake cold brew can be found at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.

Impossible Nacho Mac & Cheese
The cheddar mac & cheese replaces regular beef for plant-based Impossible ground beef, and is topped with tomatoes, olives, jalapeños, and guacamole.

Torta de Chilaquiles

Top Sirloin and Mashed Potatoes
The top sirloin bits contain roasted garlic, gruyère smashed potatoes and black garlic chimichurri.

BBQ Beef Brisket Slider (Cluck-a-Doodle-Moo)

Artichoke Pizzetta
Topping this artichoke pizza is roasted garlic cream cheese with sun-dried tomatoes, pickled onions, and lemon olive oil-drizzled micro greens.

Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Flatbread with basil pesto

Kenny's Family Cheesecake
The bite-sized cheesecake comes topped with a berry compote, with a sweet and semi-tart taste to balance out the savory dishes you just have just eaten.
