A Tasty Afternoon at LAWineFest in Long Beach

Wine expert and Angeleno Dr. Joel M. Fisher brought back his annual wine tasting and education event, LAWineFest, for its 14th year in Los Angeles County over the weekend.

Dedicated wine lovers and craft beer enthusiasts enjoyed two days of unlimited tastings in the heart of downtown Long Beach, at The Pike Outlets under the Ferris wheel. This year, the fest raised funds and awareness for the Long Beach Public Library and Long Beach City College foundations. More than 200 wines from around the globe were featured, especially highlighting those made in California and Los Angeles County.

Plenty of Humboldt Fog goat cheeses, oysters from Gladstones Long Beach, wine chips and chocolate-covered strawberries were at the ready for perfect pairings.
Here's a taste of the festival!
