A Tequila Master Class In The Green Room And Bubbles At Buvette - Here’s What’s Popping Up

Sherman Oaks wine and cocktail bar Buvette, co-owned by sommelier Rebecca Phillips, who also co-owns Studio City wine bar Vintage Wine + Eats, will flip the concept into a sparkling wine bar this week starting today.
There will be an expanded menu of all things bubbly, including various natural and off-the-beaten-path sparkling wines, sparkling roses, and champagnes (10+ options by the glass and close to 40 by the bottle), plus the option to create your own flights. There will still be regular wines and cocktails on the menu plus a new bar bites menu that will include tinned fish and charcuterie.
Chamberlain Coffee is taking over Carrera Cafe this weekend, from Friday, Oct. 28  through Sunday, Oct. 30. Throughout the Halloween weekend, Carrera Cafe will serve a variety of Chamberlain Coffee’s blends, such as its Social Dog Blend and Sneaky Bat Pumpkin Spice blends, and the cafe’s signature Chamberlain tote bags, double-walled mugs, Mason jars and transparent tumblers will be available for purchase.

Hulu is bringing an adult Trick or Treat experience to Los Angeles to not only celebrate the upcoming holiday but also the king of adult animation, Justin Roiland. From Saturday, Oct. 29 to Sunday, Oct. 30 between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., fans of Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites, and The Paloni Show, Adventure Time are in for a treat with Hulu’s Huluween Trick or Treat Truck Adult Edition. 
To celebrate the Halloween specials for Solar Opposites, The Paloni Show and the upcoming animated series Koala Man  on Hulu, there will be free ice cream themed to Roiland’s adult animated shows from Supercool Creamery, with flavors like The Great Pumpkin, Banana Party and Clacky’s Gourmet Eyeball Ice Cream. From there, Hulu is bringing Happy Hour on the road from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with ice cream flavors for adults only, like Candy Corn Lane and R.I.Paloni.

    • 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Little Tokyo (329 E. Second St., Los Angeles)

    • 4 p.m. to 5 pm.: VIP hour at Love Hour (532 S. Western Ave.)

    • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Happy Hour at Love Hour (532 S. Western Ave., 21+)

 Buvette The Green Room at the Castaway (Max Milla)

On Tuesday, Nov. 1, The Green Room in Burbank will host its second educational series event of the year, Master Class: Art of Beverage, during which Nosotros will take guests on a tour through the history of their premium-quality agave spirits. It includes a guided tasting of four varieties of Nosotros Tequila and Mezcal, each of which will be paired with bites prepared by The Green Room’s Executive Chef Czarina Sico. The evening’s food menu will feature items like smoked hamachi, prawn skewers with agave lime glaze, blue corn empanadas and more! There also will be interactive elements during the evening, like an opportunity to win gift cards and other giveaway prizes. Cost to participate in the Master Class is $65 per person. The Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge offices of Coldwell Banker Realty will host its 21st annual First-Responders BBQ on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A celebration of local frontline and support staff personnel, the event will be held at La Casita del Arroyo, at 177 S. Arroyo Blvd., in Pasadena.
