FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA (November 1, 2023) - Sunday afternoon, a two-vehicle accident claimed the lives of Angela Hart and Aspen Hart.
The incident took place on October 15th, at the junction of US-395 and Crestloch Road. As stated by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle operated by 50-year-old Angela was carrying a passenger.
Additionally, Aspen was driving on Crestloch Road and, as she attempted to enter southbound US-395, failed to yield the right-of-way, leading to a collision with a truck traveling northbound on US-395.
The other individuals involved in the incident were not identified at this time. Subsequently, the collision tragically resulted in the loss of both Angela and Aspen, while the two occupants of the truck sustained injuries. Paramedics transported the truck's occupants to the hospital for necessary medical attention.
Consequently, authorities blocked the lanes at the intersection and motorists were advised to avoid the area. The lanes have since been reopened. However, an active investigation is currently ongoing.
No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Angela Hart and Aspen Hart.
