SURPRISE, AZ (October 17, 2023) - Tragedy struck early Saturday morning on Grand Avenue as a DUI collision claimed the lives of Bea Cueto and Althea Cueto.
Around 2:45 a.m. on October 12th, first responders responded near Deer Valley Road.
Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered two vehicles with significant damage. Reports indicated that an intoxicated driver collided with a car occupied by Bea, aged 19, and Althea, aged 20.
Sadly, Bea and Althea were pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of their injuries. After completing initial responsibilities, law enforcement officers apprehended the 22-year-old suspected of DUI for alcohol impairment and placed him under arrest.
