BoyWithUke at the Fonda: Korean-American alt-pop artist BoyWithUke hides his appearance behind a black faceless mask, two glowing hoop eyes the only sign of humanity. He’s become extremely popular with the kids on TikTok with the singles “Toxic” and “Understand.” His fourth album, Lucid Dreams, is out in October, and he’s playing two nights at the Fonda. Times are good.

We asked him was L.A. can expect from these Fonda shows. "They can expect a boy with a ukelele who has been working on his live show over the past year or so, and some fire merchandise," he said.

As for the remainder of the year? "They can expect more touring! Maybe a face reveal? And working on new music."

Naethan Apollo also plays.

BoyWithUke at the Fonda: The event takes place at 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1 at the Fonda Theatre.
