50-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Auto Collision near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

LONG BEACH, CA (November 17, 2023) - Carlos Ceron died early Monday in a multi-car crash at the 100 block of Pacific Coast Highway. First responders arrived to the scene around 5:50 p.m., near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered a collision involving two vehicles that resulted in one male pedestrian being hit. Medical responders then pronounced the male victim deceased on-site.

The deceased pedestrian, identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, is 50-year-old Ceron from Long Beach. Paramedics provided on-site treatment to one of the drivers, while the other was swiftly transported to a hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
