60-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Collision near Deer Valley Road

PHOENIX, AZ (November 22, 2023) - Early Friday night, Christian Wilch was killed in a two-car crash on 27th Avenue and Deer Valley Road. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., on November 10th.

Wilch reportedly tried to make a left turn into a private driveway, resulting in a collision with a westbound vehicle. Subsequently, the driver collided with a light pole. Emergency teams responded, extracting Wilch from the vehicle, who had suffered life-threatening injuries.

Due to the severity of the injuries, medics later confirmed the passing of 60-year-old Wilch. Simultaneously, responders transported the female driver of the other vehicle to a nearby hospital, as she sustained non-life-threatening injuries. However, authorities have not disclosed her identity.
