Colby Greiner Dies in Bicycle Accident on Lake Las Vegas Parkway [Las Vegas, NV]

40-Year-Old Bicyclist Pronounced Dead after Bicycle Crash near Montelago Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 26, 2023) - Officers responded to a bicycle crash Tuesday morning, that claimed left Colby Greiner dead. Police responded to the scene at 6:40 a.m., just north of the Village Resort near Montelago Boulevard on October 17th.

Officers say a commercial vehicle was making a right turn with the right of way. There, the commercial vehicle struck 40-year-old Greiner, who was heading east on a bicycle. Paramedics arrived and took the cyclist to Sunrise Hospital where he later passed away.

In addition, the involved driver remained in the area and cooperated with the investigation. Following preliminary duties, speed or impairment was not suspected as a factor in the incident.

Emergency crews shut down a portion of the roadway during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
