Male Worker Dies after Heavy Equipment Vehicle Rolled Over

THE COLONY, TX (October 12, 2023) – Friday morning, a tractor accident on Destination Drive caused the death of one construction worker.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:36 a.m. on September 22nd, at a construction site situated on the southern part of the property along Destination Drive. As per the accounts of officials, they were alerted to a report of a heavy equipment vehicle overturning at the construction site. Upon the swift arrival of first responders, the unfortunate decision was made to pronounce the construction worker deceased at the scene, owing to the severity of the injuries sustained. Furthermore, in order to facilitate cleanup and preliminary procedures, the authorities temporarily closed off the immediate vicinity. According to authorities, there were no other reported injuries resulting from the incident.
