Dream Theater Bring the Prog: Prog-metal veterans return in support of last year's A View From the Top of the World opus. Expect noodling solos, crunchy riffs and technical brilliance, but not at the expense of the songs.?Instrumental-progressive-fusion act Arch Echo opens the show.

A View From The Top Of The World is Dream Theater at its musical finest expanding on the sound they helped create while maintaining the elements that have garnered them devoted fans around the globe. The 7-song album also marks the second studio album with InsideOutMusic / Sony Music. The artwork was created by long-time cover collaborator Hugh Syme (Rush, Iron Maiden, Stone Sour). A View From The Top Of The World was produced by John Petrucci, engineered and additional production by James Jimmy T? Meslin and mixed/mastered by Andy Sneap.

Reviewing Dream Theater at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London back in 2000 for UK heavy metal bible Kerrang!, this writer wrote that: The band are welcomed as heroes as they break into the haunting Regression. And as they go into Overture 1928 and Strange Deja Vu, it's apparent that Dream Theater are as tight a band as you will ever hear. Consistently, they dazzle with their intricately layered sounds. Frontman James LaBrie's voice is simply phenomenal and, unlike many bands of their ilk, they sound genuine and emotional.
