Fabian Andres Colorado Under Arrest Following Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident on San Tomas Expressway [Campbell, CA]

Multi-Traffic Collision near Campbell Avenue Left One Dead, One Injured

CAMPBELL, CA (October 24, 2023) - A deadly multi-vehicle accident on San Tomas Expressway led to the arrest of 37-year-old Fabian Andres Colorado.

Officials received reports of the collision around 12:50 p.m. at the intersection of San Tomas Expressway and Campbell Avenue.

According to the police, Colorado was traveling northbound on the expressway when he attempted to turn right onto Campbell.

However, Colorado lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the median. His vehicle then entered the opposing lanes and collided with three vehicles.

The first responders declared a man driving one of the cars dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a female passenger of his was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

At this time, the identities of the victims involved in the incident remain undisclosed to the public. Furthermore, authorities temporarily shut down a portion of the roadway to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Police booked Fabian Andres Colorado in Santa Clara County jail for vehicular manslaughter. Those with additional information about the fatal San Tomas Expressway crash can contact the Campbell Police Department at 408-866-2101.
