Free Burgers and 35 Cent Gas To Celebrate The Wonder Years Reboot

Offering a modern spin on a classic, global food technology platform, C3 has partnered with event production house Experiential Supply Co. and ABC to celebrate the new reboot of The Wonder Years which premieres on Wednesday, September 22. On Tuesday, September 21 the partners will transform a Hollywood gas station into a 1960's time capsule, where nostalgic C3 bites will be provided and gas sold at jaw-dropping low prices.

Inspired by simpler times, at the gas station at 1787 N Highland Ave. (corner of Franklin and Highland), C3 will be serving complimentary to-go fries, milkshakes and cheeseburgers. Chef Michael Israel, Executive Director of Culinary & Menu, oversaw the development of the classic menu items. The 1960's prices extend to the pump, where gas will be available for 35 cents per gallon.

Beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, guests can drive up to the gas station and order their fries, milkshakes and cheeseburgers to go. The throwback activation is being produced in partnership with Experimental Supply Co., which also produces Hauntoween L.A. and WonderLAnd and runs Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 am 7 :00 pm, or until supplies last.

Inspired by the award-winning series of the same name that starred Fred Savage, the reboot is a coming-of-age story set in the late 1960s that takes a nostalgic look at a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama through the point of view of 12-year-old Dean, played by Elisha Williams and reflected in voice-over by Don Cheadle. Savage is one of the executive producers along with Lee Daniels of Empire fame.
