Here’s Where To Ring in New Year 2024

Arden Restaurant, West Hollywood's romantic new restaurant, will kick off the New Year 2024 with its first annual New Year's Eve celebration that will include a decadent prix fixe dinner, a live DJ, a live pianist, and a champagne toast at midnight to welcome 2024. There will be an early seating: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (prix fixe menu with three courses at $115 plus tax and gratuity) and late-night seating from 9 p.m. onward (prix fixe menu with four courses and a champagne toast at midnight for $220 plus tax and gratuity. There will be yellowtail crudo with sunchokes, choices of lobster risotto, filet mignon with truffled mashed potatoes or truffle tagliatelle, and either flourless chocolate or yuzu, strawberry and lemon tart for dessert.

Dance your way into 2024 under the disco ball at Palihouse West Hollywood. This neighborhood-friendly soirée, hosted by Best Coast Beverages & Sean Ursani, is just $35 per person and includes small bites from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., and a Best Coast Bubbly Toast at midnight! DJ Jéli will play dance floor favorites until the ball drops. Simonette in Culver City will offer an NYE Prix Fixe Dinner at $95 per person, with a $45 optional wine pairing (5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for dinner, bar open until 1 a.m.). There will be party favors, amuse bouche and welcome bubbles, as well as clams, wild mushroom risotto, beef cheek bourguignon and crepes Suzette. At Marco Polo under the Silver (Lake) Moon, the $90 per person, $40 optional wine pairing four-course dinner includes marinated leeks, pork belly spedino, 100-layer lasagne, whole sea bream and olive oil cake. Heading south? Newport's Balboa Bay Resort will host its annual New Year's Eve Wine Dinner and Diamonds & Pearls Ballroom Party To follow. The stunning evening on the bayfront includes elevated cuisine, live music, and festive decor all around.

The New Year's Eve Four-Course Wine Dinner from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., in the waterfront Lighthouse Room, will be followed by a Diamonds and Pearls Celebration featuring Flashback Heart Attack! The party starts with a decadent four-course dinner in Lighthouse complemented by specially paired wines from Black Stallion Estate Winery. Tickets include entrance to the New Year's Eve Diamonds and Pearls-themed celebration with dancing until the midnight sparkling wine toast — party favors and late-night snacks included.

Heading North? Santa Barbara’s newest hideaway, The Steward, boutique all-suites hotel will host a New Year’s Eve soiree on Sunday, Dec. 31, kicking off at 5 p.m., complete with a four-course meal from signature restaurant Terra, including a raw seafood bar, charcuterie, a variety of additional seafood dishes, desserts, and specially crafted cocktails. Attendees also can enjoy live music, lawn games scattered throughout the grounds, and a bubbly toast to 2024 at midnight! Tickets are priced at $95 per person. The Steward also will offer a special New Year’s Package, which includes an overnight stay in one of the signature suites and two tickets to the New Year’s Eve Soiree. Stache, the queer-owned restaurant, bar and nightclub in the heart of West Hollywood, is offering nightly events, brunch, plant-based options, and a puppy menu. Ring in the New Year with Eden Entertainment’s Queer Womxn & Friends on New Year's Eve beginning at 9 p.m. and going until curtains close at 2 a.m. There will be live DJs and performances, plus a special midnight spectacle that promises to kick off the new year with a bang. Toca Madera in West Hollywood will buzz with entertainment including fire performers and musicians on New Year’s Eve. In addition to a complimentary midnight champagne toast, Toca Madera will offer specialty bites and cocktails including Black Pepper Seared Ahi in a lemon-thyme vinaigrette, osetra caviar with sieved egg, blinis and gold leaf, bone In prime short rib: prime short rib with jalapeño, and corn tortillas, as well as a porterhouse for two. Katsuya Brentwood and Katsuya Hollywood will host two seatings on Sunday, Dec. 31 (5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.) for guests to come and enjoy a festive evening. (To note, the 9:30 p.m. final seating has a $150 food and beverage minimum per person, as the table is yours for the night.) There will be a DJ, dancing and a champagne toast at midnight, as well as a few other surprises to ring in the new year. Katsuya also will feature a special New Year’s Eve menu including items like Toshikoshi Soba with soy koji marinated sea bass, pickled ginger and takana, a symbolic dish to bid farewell to the past year and welcome new beginnings. There’s also chicken karaage topped with Katsuya caviar and creamy furikake, as well as chocolate panna cotta with miso mochi cake with candied hazelnuts and caramel cream for dessert.

Botanica in Silver Lake will host a special prix fixe dinner the night of NYE and will be open on Monday, Jan. 1, for New Year's Day brunch. The NYE menu is $110 per person and includes a complimentary glass of bubbles, as well as:

Katana Robata is unveiling the new year at its Masuku Masquerade on Sunday, Dec. 31 starting at 5 p.m. with DJ Scott blasting out jams starting at 8 p.m. The special New Year’s Eve Izakaya Feast ($150 per person) comes with a complimentary glass of champagne, appetizers including yellowtail serrano, fluke orange, and Hanabi, robata skewers (Chilean Seabass, Kobe Beef and Ebi Bacon) and Sushi (Toro, Yellowtail, Golden Salmon Baked Crab Hand Roll, and Hammer Roll) and Dessert from the Chef.
