Huber Cruz-Mendoza Killed in 3-Car Accident on Highway 180 [Fresno County, CA]

56-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Three-Vehicle Collision near Floyd Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (November 30, 2023) - Huber Cruz-Mendoza died Monday night in a three-car-crash on Highway 180 and Floyd Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m.












Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered that the operator of a Toyota Rav4 struck the rear of a Toyota Corolla that was in the process of stopping. As a result of the collision, the Rav4 was propelled into a Ford F-550 pickup truck.

 

Paramedics took the 47-year-old male driver of the Rav4 to Community Regional Medical Center, where he is being treated for severe injuries. Simultaneously, medical personnel declared the passenger in the Toyota Rav4, 56-year-old Cruz-Mendoza, as deceased.

 

Additionally, paramedics transferred the Corolla's driver to Clovis Community Hospital with minor injuries.

 

Currently, an ongoing investigation is actively seeking additional details surrounding the incident.
