Attending an event to support AIDS is always something to celebrate, which is why influencer and entrepreneur Emma Jonnz wanted to share her experience at the Canfar event hosted in Toronto recently. This past week, entrepreneur and Instagram influencer Emma Jonnz (@emmajonnz) attended Canfar in Toronto – a charity event to support AIDS research. Founded in 1988, Canfar has been leading the fight against HIV and AIDS for over 20 years. This year, the event brought together hundreds of individuals from across the country in an effort to fund vital medical research and support those affected by the disease.

Emma Jonnz was in attendance as a supporter of the cause and was moved by the strength and positivity of those in attendance. It was an incredible experience, said Jonnz. To be surrounded by so many amazing people who are all coming together to fight such an important issue was really inspiring.

The event provided attendees with the opportunity to learn more about HIV/AIDS and the challenges facing those living with it. It also allowed guests to interact with researchers, healthcare professionals and those living with HIV. There were also several fundraising activities which included auctions and raffles, with proceeds going directly to funding further research into the virus.

With a following of over 250k on Instagram, Jonnz is no stranger to being a digital advocate. The successful influencer uses her platform to not only share insights from her everyday life but also to promote causes and initiatives that are close to her heart. Jonnz expressed her gratitude to Canfar for the invitation to attend such an important event. She hopes to continue to use her platform for good and spread awareness of the vital work that Canfar does in their mission to fight HIV/AIDS.
