Jason Andres Bentley Dies in DUI Motorcycle Accident on Prince Road [Tucson, AZ]

40-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Box-Truck Collision near Campbell Avenue


TUCSON, AZ (October 31, 2023) - Jason Andres Bentley died Tuesday night in a DUI motorcycle accident on Prince Road.

The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m., near Campbell Avenue on October 17th.
Per reports, the driver of a box-truck was traveling east and drove diagonally across all lanes for reasons unknown. As a result, the box-truck struck a motorcyclist, later identified as 40-year-old Bentley.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced Bentley dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old box truck driver was evaluated by an Impaired Driving Enforcement Unit officer, and was determined to have alcohol in his system. However, no citations or charges have been filed against the driver.
