Joy Oladokun on Genesis: Singer and songwriter Joy Oladokun told us about her love for a Genesis fave.
(Atlantic)
Joy Oladokun: I'm a big fan of this record for two reasons. It has a very, very delicious mix of pop music for the fun of it, plus social political commentary about the world that the band was living in at the time.
I'm still so inspired about their ability to have fun and have serious conversations at the same time.
Also, just bangers, top to bottom.
Joy Oladokun on Genesis: Joy Oladokun plays on Monday, April 11 at the Troubadour (sold out).
