Los Angeles is now witnessing a new trend in swimwear. BYDEE, the Australian swim brand, is making its presence felt. Dessy Hairis, the founder of BYDEE, is no ordinary entrepreneur. At a time when most of us grapple with the early uncertainties of our twenties, Dessy was already diving deep into the complex world of global business. Her story traces back to the busy Sydney market scene where she began her journey. From that market, she created BYDEE in 2013 because of her love for unique designs. Today, thanks to their Agápi launch, a BYDEE bikini finds a new owner every two seconds somewhere around the world.

If you ask Dessy what's the secret of her success? A blend of passion, perfectionism, and loads of love. From the collection's backstory to the moment our customers unwrap their orders, we want Bydee to seamlessly integrate into their world." Each swimwear piece they produce is crafted from Repreve yarn, derived from 100% recycled fibers. "We've committed to being a plastic-free brand. From sending out orders in 100% biodegradable and compostable bags to receiving shipments without plastic, we're continuously striving to be environmentally conscious," she asserts.

Like any other story, BYDEE's journey had its ups and downs. Starting a business venture at 18, Dessy faced a steep learning curve, often through trial and error. "Entering business without prior experience was daunting," she admits. "But being proactive on platforms like Instagram during its early days was a game-changer for Bydee."

When asked about the magic formula behind BYDEE's rapid rice, Dessy credits it to the brand's adaptability and unwavering values. "Listening to our customers, staying true to our brand values, and being genuinely passionate about our creations have been pivotal," she reflects.
