Man Dies in Pedestrian Crash on Kings Canyon Road [Fresno, CA]

Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near North Burgan Avenue

FRESNO, CA (October 25, 2023) - Friday evening, a pedestrian collision claimed the life of one man on Kings Canyon Road. This event transpired at approximately 7:00 p.m., in the vicinity of North Burgan Avenue, just east of Fowler Avenue.

According to reports, the driver of a Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastward and collided with a pedestrian who was in the process of crossing the road. Shortly after, the male victim was ultimately declared deceased at the scene.

Police have identified the pedestrian as an adult male in his 40s. In addition, the driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and fully cooperated with the ongoing investigation.
