Male Cyclist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Glenneyre Street

LAGUNA BEACH, CA (October 10, 2023) - A bicycle accident on Oak Street claimed the life of one man on Sunday night.

At approximately 6:53 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the scene at the intersection of Oak Street and Glenneyre Street. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers discovered that a motorist had collided with a male cyclist who had a small terrier in the front basket of his bicycle.

Paramedics swiftly arrived and transported the injured cyclist to a nearby hospital, where he passed away due to his injuries. The authorities have yet to release his identity.

Meanwhile, the cyclist's dog received treatment for minor injuries at a local animal hospital. The police stated that the driver involved in the incident stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with the ongoing investigation.
