45-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Chowchilla Boulevard

CHOWCHILLA, CA (October 27, 2023) - One unidentified man died Thursday morning, in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Road 15.

Emergency personnel arrived to the area around 6:00 a.m., near the Chowchilla Boulevard exit.

Officers say a pickup-truck struck a male pedestrian that was walking on the westbound shoulder of the off-ramp. The involved driver then continued traveling without calling authorities or providing assistance.

Medics arrived and eventually pronounced the 45-year-old man, from Fresno deceased.
