Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Apex

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 10, 2023) - One man was pronounced dead early Friday morning, in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 15. Police responded to the scene around 3:05 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway, just north of Apex on October 27th.
Investigators say the driver of a silver Nissan Altima and gray Toyota Camry struck a pedestrian that was walking along the northbound lane. Due to the impact of the crash, medics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Emergency crews blocked off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Meanwhile, motorists were directed to Las Vegas Boulevard.
