PEORIA, AZ (November 20, 2023) - Late Saturday evening, a deadly head-on collision claimed the life of Manh Thach.
It happened near 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road around 11:50 p.m., November 11th.
The collision involved a Toyota 4Runner driven by 58-year-old Thach and a Honda CR-V occupied by multiple people.
Upon investigation, the officers learned that Thach was traveling southbound on 67th Avenue when he changed lanes and collided head-on with the northbound Honda.
Furthermore, Thach suffered serious injuries, and responding paramedics transported him to the hospital where he later died.
Also, the driver of the Honda sustained major injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Three passengers of the driver were also given treatment for minor wounds.
No arrests were made at this time, and further investigation is still ongoing.
