  • Adtech mobility company Nickelytics continues next-generation OOH campaigns in Hollywood together with autonomous delivery platform, Serve Robotics

  • AmTrust Financial expands advertising wraps from rideshare vehicles to delivery robots, becoming one of the first companies to advertise on the medium

Nickelytics, a venture-backed B2B adtech startup that allows brands to execute hyperlocal out-of-home advertising campaigns, today announced the launch of one of the first OOH ad campaigns to be placed on robots. The mobility company partnered with Serve Robotics, the leading autonomous delivery company, and AmTrust Financial, a leading property and casualty insurer, to expand outdoor advertising to an innovative new format: delivery robots.

AmTrust ads will be wrapped around select Serve delivery robots in a new campaign to increase brand awareness in the Los Angeles area. Serve Robotics and Nickelytics have also entered into an ongoing partnership to offer additional advertisers the opportunity to appear on their attention-grabbing sidewalk robots as they complete food deliveries in high-visibility areas.

“Expanding our client offerings from vehicle wraps to robots with a longstanding partner like AmTrust is an exciting inflection point for us as we look to enter additional out-of-home markets,” said Judah Longgrear, Co-founder and CEO of Nickelytics. “The opportunity Serve is providing advertisers is truly a defining moment in the out-of-home space and we are confident this medium will provide an entirely unique kind of customer engagement for our brand partners.”

“AmTrust continues to expand the channels we’re using to increase awareness and affinity for our brand with small business owners and other target audiences,” commented Hunter Hoffmann, Chief Marketing Officer at AmTrust Financial Services. “After a successful pilot last year, we extended our Uber-car wrap advertising partnership with Nickelytics this year to several mid-sized cities across the country. The initial exposure and re-targeting opportunities offered by the Serve partnership have been very positive.”

“We are delighted to partner with Nickelytics to increase AmTrust brand awareness as our friendly sidewalk robots travel around Los Angeles, reducing emissions and traffic congestion,” said Prahar Shah, Chief Revenue Officer at Serve Robotics.
