One Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident on La Cumbre Road [Santa Barbara, CA]

Santa Barbara Pedestrian-Auto Collision Left One Person Hospitalized

SANTA BARBARA, CA (October 18, 2023) - Friday night, a pedestrian accident on La Cumbre Road sent one person to the hospital.

Police responded to reports of the incident shortly before 9:00 p.m. at the 1st North block of La Cumbre Road.

According to the officers, a vehicle hit the victim walking in the roadway, leaving the pedestrian with serious injuries.

The first responders transported the pedestrian to the Cottage Hospital Emergency Room for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Police do not suspect intoxication to be a contributing factor in the incident.
