Man Killed, Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on O’Connor Road [San Antonio, TX]

One Dead, Two Hospitalized after Car Collision on Wurzbach Parkway

SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 11, 2023) – In the early hours of Sunday, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on O’Connor Road, resulting in the loss of one life and injuries to two others.

The incident transpired shortly before 2:30 a.m. on September 24th, within the 12400 block of O’Connor Road.

As per the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), a truck was struck head-on by a driver who crossed the double yellow lines, causing the truck to overturn and come to rest on its right side.

First responders discovered one vehicle in a roadside ditch, another with significant damage, and a truck that had toppled onto its side.

Due to the severity of the injuries sustained, emergency medical personnel pronounced one of the passengers deceased at the scene.

Simultaneously, medical responders swiftly transported the remaining passengers and the truck's driver to a hospital for further medical care.

While initial observations pointed to the possible involvement of drugs or alcohol, a comprehensive investigation is currently in progress.
