Paul Lopez Pronounced Dead after Solo-Car Crash on 83rd Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]

51-Year-Old Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident near McDowell Road

PHOENIX, AZ (November 15, 2023) - Paul Lopez died Saturday morning in a single-car collision on 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road on November 4th.

Emergency crews responded to the area around 8:30 a.m. According to accounts, Lopez was heading south with a young passenger when he deviated from the road. The vehicle then collided with the median and struck another vehicle before coming to a halt against a tree.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, 51-year-old Lopez was declared dead at the scene. Meanwhile, emergency crews transported the infant passenger to a nearby hospital for further medical attention.

Currently, an active investigation is in progress to uncover additional details.
