Award-winning singer and songwriter Post Malone has come a long way from Beerbongs and Bentleys, and is joining the ranks of fellow artists and French rose lovers like John Legend and Jon Bon Jovi, debuting his own premium ros?, Maison No. 9 in June.
Together with partners James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities and his long-time music manager Dre London, Malone spent much of 2019 ?in between sold-out tour dates traveling to Provence and working with medaled winemaker Alexis Cornu to try grape varietals and sample blends. The result is an affordable ros? that reflects his love for summer and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Maison No. 9 is a 2019 M?diterran?e IGP, 45 percent grenache noir, 25 percent cinsault, 15 percent syrah and 15 percent merlot, easily identifiable by its soft, light Provencal Pink? color and is described by the winemaker as intense and inviting with aromas of freshly picked fruit like pineapple, pear and strawberry.

The name ?was inspired by Post's favorite tarot card, the Nine of Swords, and represents overcoming the daily challenges we all face. The wine comes in an elegant and sleek ?bottle featuring an elongated neck from a vision Post had ?to create a solid glass custom closure for the bottle with battlements? inspired by a medieval castle near the vineyard.
Ros? is for when you want to get a little fancy,?the rapper said in a statement. It's a nice switch-up and I have been thinking about doing my own wine for a while. It was great to work with Global Brand Equities because they saw the vision and we got to do some super cool stuff. Maison No. 9 goes down smooth.
The rose will be available for purchase online and in stores nationwide in June, exclusively distributed by E. & J. Gallo Winery. A special pre-sale of the bottle, in addition to Maison No. 9 limited edition merchandise, will be available online before launch, with email sign up now on the website.
