Sabrina Gray Killed, Pete Garner Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 175 [Cherokee County, TX]

41-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Wrong-Way Collision near Cuney

CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX (November 22, 2023) - Sabrina Gray died early Sunday while Pete Garner sustained injuries in a two-car accident on Highway 175.

Around 5:26 a.m., an incident took place on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Cuney. According to officers, Gray was operating a 2016 Dodge Dart in the opposing lane, resulting in a collision with a 2012 Ford F-150 towing a trailer driven by Garner.

The collision led to 41-year-old Gray, a resident of Cuney, being ejected from the Dodge onto the road. Paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced her dead.

Cherokee County Officials are currently investigating the details surrounding the fatal crash, and additional information will be provided once it becomes available.
