Scenes from the Golden Globes/Billboard After Party-- L.A.'s Beverly Hilton was the party hub after the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association's bash ("powered by Billboard") attracted the biggest nominees, presenters and winners, all of whom were able to get their statuettes engraved at the event. DJ Pee.Wee (aka Anderson .Paak) spun dance tunes for glam gaggles, and judging from the revelry in these images, the bar was busy too.
As for the show itself, it was nice to see it happen in person again and on TV. People are still talking about host Jarrod Carmicheal's
Scientology joke, Austin Butler's
Elvis voice, Brad Pitt's front and center seating (and his ex-wife's
abuse allegations), and Eddie Murphy's
Will Smith dis, but we'll just stay positive and celebrate Jennifer Coolidge's much deserved win for
White Lotus.
As
we predicted last year after a fun chat with the fabulous funny lady, she's getting all the flowers and awards, and it's a long time coming.
And now we wait for the
Oscars, whose nominees will be announced on Jan. 24.
