ANAHEIM, CA (October 31, 2023) - Shivam Patel was taken into custody by police Friday night after a accident involving driving under the influence (DUI) on Santa Ana Canyon Road. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., just east of Lakeview Avenue on October 20th.
According to reports, the driver of a Lamborghini lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn on the freeway. A male passenger in his 40s was ejected from the car, sustaining fatal injuries. However, the identity of the victim remains undisclosed to the public.
Meanwhile, emergency responders swiftly transported the driver of the Lamborghini, 25-year-old Shivam Patel from Yorba Linda, to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Subsequently, Patel was arrested on charges of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
