Simone “Queen” Hopes is leading the medical aesthetics industry with her immersive strategies and techniques as she continuously challenges the stigma of professional skincare in communities of color. Hopes is a Certified Cosmetic Injector and Owner of a Medical Spa and Consulting Company called Queen Aesthetics Wellness & Beauty Studio in Houston, TX. Her thriving purpose for Queen Aesthetics focuses on achieving dynamic results for her elite clientele, educating medical professionals about cosmetic injections and providing tips for breaking into the ever-evolving aesthetic industry. In an interview with Spark, Hopes shared with readers her original interest was to become a pediatric surgeon. Her first unofficial patient just so happened to be a dead frog she grabbed off the street at the tender age of 10. Hopes was able to dissect the frog with a science kit her mom bought for her.

While keeping a curious mind and being exposed to various future career opportunities while growing up, her career path became clear when she saw a Physician Assistant caring for her baby sister who was born premature. As the third eldest of eight children growing up in Texas, it was inevitable for Hopes to be in such a nurturing and compassionate space she created to advocate for those with dermatologic health issues. Queen Aesthetics came to flourish when, unfortunately, a black woman received laser treatments for acne and hyperpigmentation and suffered second-degree burns on her face. Hopes made a vow to pioneer change for those in the black and brown community seeking cosmetic treatments and enhancements.

Hopes achieved the title for “SKINfluencer of the Year 2022” with New York’s Power 105.1 FM and recently solidified a game-changing partnership with Allergan Aesthetics, a global leading pharmaceutical powerhouse.

Simone “Queen” Hopes is a native North Houstonian who was always active in sports and Science. After receiving a full basketball scholarship to Tennessee State University and graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry she began pursuing a medical career.

She moved to Maryland shortly after graduating to start a new journey at the University of Maryland Baltimore Collaborative Physician Assistant (PA) program, where she was the Class President. With a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies, Simone has been in the medical field over 4 years with her most recent experience as a Surgical PA specializing in General and Plastic Surgery.

Currently, Simone is a healthcare consultant specializing in surgical centers, med spa startups and personalized injectable training. In addition, she is a Physician Assistant, mentor, and healthcare advocate. With over 4+ years of experience in the medical industry, Simone began her journey as a Certified Cosmetic Injector and owner of her own cosmetic consulting company. From surgery to skincare, she is a well-versed clinician, Simone stays abreast of all the latest beauty trends which allows her to achieve optimal results for all of her clients.
