Much buzz has been generated around Edie Yvonne, all due to the 14-year-old’s incredibly assured take on indie-pop music.

14-year-old singer/songwriter Edie Yvonne has shared her latest single, ‘Queen Bee,’ as she continues to offer one of the freshest takes on indie-pop that we’ve heard in a long time.

The singer, based in Los Angeles, has generated a lot of buzz this year by dropping a new single each month, including recent releases ‘On Your Mind, ‘In The Rain,’ and ‘Stain.’ With each drop, fans and critics have praised Edie’s confident songwriting approach, her ultra-slick production, her swaggering vocals, and how her work forms part of a coherent visual and audio aesthetic.

As well as singing, Edie is also an actress, and she’s starred in several short films, including Chloe Sevigny’s Kitty, Lola Girl Got A Gun, and At Ease.

Edie’s acting work has helped her combine the visual alongside the musical when refining her art. She is working on “a short film about mean girls and their minions.” This short film will accompany her ‘Queen Bee’ single.

‘Queen Bee’ is an intricately layered indie-pop track with polished, dance-orientated synths and drums. It's safe to say it’s an instant hit - packing everything it needs into its 2 minutes and 5 seconds. You’ll be moving to hit the ‘Play’ button as soon as the song ends.
