TUCSON, AZ (December 13, 2023) - Late Saturday morning Terry Garmon suffered fatal injuries in a head-on crash on Ruthrauff Road and Fellows Avenue. Police officers responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m., on November 25th.
The Tucson Police Department concluded that Garmon was operating a Honda SUV heading west when, for unknown reasons, he veered into oncoming lanes. Consequently, the Honda collided head-on with a Ford F-250 pickup truck, occupied by two individuals.
Despite attempts to save his life, medics declared 72-year-old Garmon deceased at the hospital on December 3rd. Additionally, paramedics transported the two occupants from the Ford to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
After conducting initial investigations, authorities ruled out speed and impairment as potential contributors to the collision. No charges were filed against the Ford driver.
