Usually, launching a business needs extensive and premeditated research that thoroughly informs the actual work. It is not everyone’s cup of tea, and not everyone manages to successfully establish a business. Meaghan Long, founder of Meaghan Long Virtual Solutions and Freelance to Freedom, has launched two successful businesses only in a few months.

Having a difficult childhood and going through her parent's divorce at an early age, Meaghan left high school when she was 16 and started partying. Despite the cards life played her, she rose from the ashes, overcame mental health, and alcoholism and currently lives a recovered lifestyle.

Like many, Meaghan’s job in the restaurant industry was shut down during Covid. She moved from Ontario to New Brunswick to be with her then boyfriend, now husband, and they welcomed their son into the world in November 2021. Meaghan knew she wanted a new pathway for work that was more flexible schedule to incorporate her being a new mother. Meaghan cut off her maternity leave to pursue becoming a virtual assistant. In the Spring of 2022, she launched her virtual assistant company, Meaghan Long Virtual Solutions.

She provides services that businesses need support with on a daily basis. Her services give business owners and entrepreneurs time to focus on the core of their business. After the first six weeks of being a Virtual Assistant, she was completely booked. Moreover, within six months of working, she earned $10k monthly through her online services. She wanted to support women in finding their way in the online space, and launched her coaching program Freelance to Freedom.

Scaling to $22k months, Meaghan wanted to teach how she attained success through heart centred strategy as a virtual assistant. She is passionate about supporting women to have time and financial freedom. Meaghan deeply believes in learning through mentorship, practicing CEO mindset, and having a supportive community being cornerstones to success.

This mindset has gotten her quite far in the virtual assistant business. Meaghan says, “I treated my business like a 7-figure business, never accepted no, and never stop pushing the dial forward.” This is why she has clients from all over the world and is coaching women worldwide, too.
