Three Dead, Three Hospitalized Following Fiery Crash on South Zaragoza Road [El Paso, TX]

Four-Vehicle Collision on South Americas Avenue Resulted in Three Individuals Deceased, Three Hurt


EL PASO, TX (October 25, 2023) – Saturday morning, a fiery crash on South Zaragoza Road left three people dead and three others injured.
The incident happened around 8:25 a.m. on October 14th, at South Zaragoza Road and South Americas Avenue.
According to the authorities, EPPD received a report involving four vehicles and caught also caught fire. Three people in their twenties were taken to the hospital with serious and minor injuries while three more individuals were pronounced dead on the spot.
Furthermore, witnesses stated that officers arrested and tased an unidentified man, however, police undisclosed the man’s connection to the accident.
Authorities have not released the identities of any of the involved parties at this time.
In addition, officers shut off all lanes and underpasses in the area for investigation and cleanup. An active investigation is ongoing. More information about the fatal accident will be released once available.
