Two Accidents Happened on US 60 that Resulted in Two Injuries

TEMPE, AZ (October 12, 2023) - On Tuesday morning, two people were hospitalized following a truck-sedan crash on US 60.

On the morning of October 3rd, shortly after 8:00 a.m., an incident occurred just to the west of Mill Avenue, involving a pickup truck and a sedan. Subsequently, law enforcement arrived at the scene and discovered two individuals with injuries, one of whom was in critical condition. In addition, a second collision took place shortly after the initial incident, involving a van and a utility truck. Fortunately, this subsequent collision did not result in any reported injuries. The authorities have refrained from disclosing the identities of any of the parties involved at this point. Meanwhile, to facilitate cleanup and necessary procedures, the westbound lanes of the highway were temporarily closed. The lanes were subsequently reopened by 9:30 a.m. As of the present, no additional information has been provided, and investigations into these incidents are still ongoing. Tempe Officials will share further details with the public as they become available.
