Two Pedestrians Hospitalized following Hit-and-Run Incident on Second Street [Reno, NV]

Pedestrians vs. Vehicle Hit-and-Run on Ralston Left Two People Hurt

RENO, NV (October 17, 2023) - Early Sunday morning, two pedestrians suffered injuries after a deadly hit-and-run incident on Second Street.

The incident took place at the intersection of Second and Ralston Streets just before 12:30 a.m., October 8th.

According to the Reno Police Department, two pedestrians along the intersection were struck by a vehicle, which later fled the scene just before the authorities arrived.

Furthermore, several witnesses remained at the scene and they reported the incident to the authorities. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported one pedestrian with serious injuries. The other pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Further investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call the RPD at 775-334-2677 or the Secret Witness at 775-322-4900 or go to secretwitness.com.

Also, Secret Witness offered a $1,000 reward in the case to anyone who could help find the suspect.

A driver must stop and take certain actions when involved in a motor vehicle accident that results in property damage or injury to another party. Remain at the scene. If able, exchange particulars with the other parties involved and document the crash.
