BENTON COUNTY, WA (October 13, 2023) - On Friday evening, police responded to a deadly car accident on Homestead Road.
The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m., October 6th, near Badger Road involving a vehicle occupied by six female teenagers.
Furthermore, the investigation showed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road, and ended up in a ravine.
According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, the driver was suspected to be driving at high speeds, and she was not familiar with the area.
Unfortunately, one of them was pronounced dead at the scene and five were transported to the hospital with critical injuries. Just moments later, one of them died. The other injured occupants were expected to survive.
In addition, the authorities stated that the occupant's ages range between 15 and 17 years old.
The sheriff's office has not released additional information, and further investigation is underway.
