Passenger Killed, Multiple Injured in Two-Car Collision near Redondo Beach Boulevard

GARDENA, CA (October 26, 2023) - One victim was killed early Monday evening, in a two-car crash on Berendo Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 5:40 p.m., near Redondo Beach Boulevard on October 2nd.
Officers say the incident involved a red Mitsubishi and a blue Ford Mustang. Following preliminary duties, authorities determined that one of the involved vehicles made an unsafe turn before the collision.
Paramedics arrived and took multiple occupants to a local hospital where one passenger from inside the Mitsubishi later died.
At this time, the Los Angeles County Department Medical Examiner has not yet released the identity of the deceased victim. Once available, further details will be provided.
