Female Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Crenshaw Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 20, 2023) - One woman died Sunday night in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Washington and Crenshaw Boulevard.













The incident transpired at approximately 11:50 p.m. at the junction of Washington and Crenshaw Boulevard. According to reports, the driver of a silver Subaru Impreza was traveling west on Washington when the vehicle collided with a pedestrian.

 

Following the impact, the driver fled the scene without offering assistance to the severely injured victim. Emergency medical responders conveyed the female pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. Her identity remains undisclosed to the public.

 

For a short duration, emergency crews closed off the surrounding area to facilitate cleanup and preliminary tasks.
