Woman Fatally Injured in Speeding Car Accident on Arbrook Boulevard [Arlington, TX]

20-Year-Old Woman Dies in High-Speed Collision on Hogan Lane

ARLINGTON, TX (October 11, 2023) – Friday night, a woman lost her life in a high-speed car accident on Arbrook Boulevard.

The collision occurred around 10:30 p.m. on September 22nd in the vicinity of the 3600 block of Hogan Lane.

According to initial accounts, the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu was recklessly speeding and lost control of the vehicle, ultimately colliding with the center median. Subsequently, the Chevrolet struck a 2018 Toyota Camry in the westbound lanes and then collided with an electrical pole located in the backyard of a nearby residence.

Due to the severity of the injuries sustained, emergency responders pronounced the passenger in the Chevrolet deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevrolet was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Toyota and its occupants emerged from the incident unharmed. Preliminary investigations indicated that speed played a significant role in the accident. Although, a thorough investigation is still ongoing.
