Born in 1976, he embarked on his professional journey of exploring the aesthetics of space, with a passion for art and design, at the Academy of Fine Arts of South China Normal University, majoring in interior design. Since 1998, Wu Yishuang began his professional journey exploring spatial aesthetics.

Over 25 years, Wu Yishuang has grown from a novice designer to a leading figure in the industry—a senior interior architect with profound artistic accomplishments and extensive practical experience. He is not only a standing director of the China Interior Decoration Association but also a senior member of the Sino-European International Design Association. His influence is also recognized at the local level, serving as a director of the Shenzhen Interior Designers Association.

Wu Yishuang focuses on the design and expression of interior spaces, especially known for his achievements in the design of high-end hotels, commercial real estate, and commercial spaces. From 2001 to 2007, he served as the chief designer at Top Honor Environmental (Shenzhen) Design Co., Ltd., a key period when his talents began to be widely recognized. Afterwards, he was the design director at Shenzhen Great Wall Furniture Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. until 2013, where his design concepts and style were further matured and sublimated. Since 2013, Wu Yishuang has been serving as the deputy dean and design director of the Shenzhen Guangtian Architectural Decoration Design Research Institute, continuing to contribute his strength to the Chinese interior design industry. He has also visited and exchanged ideas with peers in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Osaka, among other places.

The glory of personal achievements has illuminated Wu Yishuang's design career. The year 2015 was a microcosm of the peak of his career. That year, he won the "Urban Honor - Contemporary Design Achievement Award" and the "International Design Grand Prix AIT Award - Best Commercial Space Design," which recognized not only the maturity of his design skills but also his ability to create environments in urban spaces where aesthetics and practicality coexist. Unsatisfied with the status quo, he continued to improve himself and won the Silver Award at the American MUSE International Design Awards in 2023.
