PHOENIX, AZ (September 19, 2024) – Five children were hurt Saturday night, in a 3-vehicle DUI crash on 27th Street and McDowell Road.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m., on September 14th.

According to reports, a three-vehicle collision occurred near the intersection, leaving five children, ages 5 to 17, with severe injuries.

Paramedics arrived and transported all five children to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not yet disclosed their identities. After an initial investigation, troopers determined that one of the drivers was impaired at the time of the crash.

The investigation into the DUI-related accident on 27th Street remains ongoing.
