MODESTO, CA (August 5, 2024) – Alex Betancourt was killed early Tuesday, in a motorcycle crash on Yosemite Boulevard and Kerr Avenue.
Police officers responded to the scene around 1:00 p.m., on July 30th.
Investigators report that a Manteca man driving an Acura TLX eastbound on Yosemite Boulevard collided with Betancourt. The impact ejected Betancourt from his Harley-Davidson Dyna onto the road.
Paramedics transported 31-year-old Betancourt, of Oakdale, to a nearby hospital, where he later passed away.
At this time, police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved. Law enforcement is actively investigating the crash to gather more details.
Authorities have not released further information about the motorcycle and sedan collision near Kerr Avenue but will provide updates as they become available.
