Some people have that 'It' factor. Some brands have a product that stands out from the crowd. And some companies have a leadership team that is the who's who of industry and entrepreneurship. It just happens that Anatomie, leading designers of wrinkle-resistant, luxury travel clothes, have IT ALL–the people, the product, and the leadership.

Anatomie merges luxury and style with functionality. The team seeks to wrap globetrotters in comfortable fabrics without compromising sophistication. Their clothes have become synonymous with jet-setting in style. At the helm of this iconic brand is an all-star team of visionaries and industry leaders, each contributing their unique expertise to shape the future of luxury fashion.

The All-Star Team

Anatomie was founded in 2006 by Creative Director Shawn Boyer and Kate Boyer. They met in Miami, where the Ohio native was designing customized clothing for hard-to-fit athletic men. The two joined forces to design sportswear for brands such as Elite Models, Cigarette Boats, Lamborghini and Nikki Beach clubs. The two focused their initial Anatomie efforts on reaching and converting affluent customer segments through a direct sales approach and later by bringing on a stellar team of leaders and board members.

The Rest of the Line Up

The team is a convergence of deep domain experience and a shared passion for luxury customer experience. With over 30 years of industry experience, Tom Dietrich serves as Anatomie's President and COO and has played a pivotal role in scaling Anatomie. He brings a wealth of strategic operations and business transformation knowledge, having held executive roles at Lafayette 148, New York, and EXCEL Brands.

Transitioning from luxury brands like Chanel and American Express, Erica Kasel heads up Marketing and E-Commerce.

Mike Canizales is an accomplished global C-Suite executive with 30 years of experience scaling high-growth and PE-backed companies across 50 countries.  His diverse background includes Microsoft, a luxury spa business and a partnership with LVMH brands.  He is supporting the organization with corporate fundraising, development, and operational initiatives.

Jennifer Thompson heads up the travel division and has decades of leadership experience with spas, hotels, and golf clubs.

And Shawn continues to not only design as the Creative Director, but he also spearheads the continued innovation with AI Integration. His vision for the brand extends beyond fashion by incorporating cutting-edge technology to enhance the customer experience.

Tom shares, "We've all built or worked with the best brands in the world, so it's a pretty great team backed up by a board that's kind off the charts as well."

Unrivaled Board of Directors

"We have marquee-level individuals who were customers of Anatomie first. Then they became investors, and then they became board members. And now they're active board members." Shawn shares. With over a century of leadership and entrepreneurship experience, Anatomie definitely has the A-Team of boards.

Sandra Kim-Suk brings 25 years of finance leadership experience. Sandra has served as CFO at leading private equity firms L. Catterton and  Engine No. 1.

Meanwhile, J. David Scheiner is Anatomie's veteran retail expert. He served as President and COO of Macy's Florida/Puerto Rico as well as Chairman of the board for Perry Ellis International.

Another stellar member is Andy Stumer. He is a multi-exit entrepreneur, with over $1 Billion in exits; he is also an Endeavor Entrepreneur and Founder of Aqua Marine Partners with a vast portfolio of marina real estate.

After she had a successful $300 million startup of her own, Lisa Peddy helped Zumba launch worldwide with an inclusive $60 million apparel business.

And last but not least, Jill Granoff, CEO of Eurazeo Brands, rounds off the board as an advisor. She has 30 years of experience as a strategist and brand builder, including CEO of Vince and Kenneth Cole productions.

Vision for Growth and Future Plans

The company's expansion strategy highlights the importance of omnichannel distribution, including wholesale, e-commerce, and a strategic retail presence as well. "We're taking omnichannel seriously. Our favorite word is ubiquity; we want to be available to our discerning clients, anywhere and anytime, because that's how our clients expect to shop,” shares Tom.

The team at Anatomie continues to emphasize the significance of E-commerce (Ecom) in its growth, with plans to optimize and ensure it is first order profitable. While future retail will be selective, it will continue high-impact distribution by expanding its presence with cruise lines, golf clubs, and high-end spas. And they remain committed to an impressive footprint in key wholesale channels.

Anatomie, a luxury travel fashion brand, stands out with its All-Star combination of exceptional people, standout products, and a distinguished leadership team. With its rock-solid foundation, product market fit, and omnichannel dominance, Anatomie is on its way toward significant expansion and recognition as a leading global luxury fashion brand.
