TUCSON, AZ (December 9, 2024) – Anthony Davis, Bennie Dansby, and James Samuel died early Sunday evening, in a DUI collision on State Route 80.
First responders arrived to the scene at approximately 6:00 p.m., near Tombstone and St. David on November 24th.
Arizona authorities report that the driver of a red Infiniti SUV traveling eastbound veered across the center line and collided with three motorcyclists. The force of the crash inflicted severe, life-threatening injuries on all three riders.
Emergency responders pronounced 37-year-old Davis and 40-year-old Dansby deceased at the scene. Paramedics transported 55-year-old Samuel to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators determined the 41-year-old male Infiniti driver from Huachuca was impaired at the time of the collision. Charges against him are currently pending, and no additional updates have been provided by officials.
