Driver Hospitalized, Adrian Flores Arrested after DUI Crash on Highway 32 [Chico, CA]

One Hurt in Two-Vehicle Collision near Bruce Road

CHICO, CA (November 16, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a DUI crash on Highway 32 resulted in one driver being hospitalized, and Adrian Flores being arrested. Police responded to dispatch calls reporting a collision between two vehicles near Bruce Road at approximately 4:20 p.m.

Upon their arrival, officers observed one of the vehicles attempting to flee the scene. The suspect eventually halted about half a mile away. The driver then abandoned the vehicle, making a run for a nearby field. In addition, crews took the other involved driver to a nearby hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Adrian Flores from Sacramento, was apprehended. It was later revealed that Flores was currently on probation for a previous DUI conviction. Adrian Flores now faces charges including hit-and-run causing injuries, DUI, and violating the terms of probation.
